The Charlottesville-Albemarle Kennel Club, a non-profit
organization, was founded in 1970 for the advancement of
pure bred dogs.
The
club has approximately 55 members, who participate in American Kennel
Club sanctioned events, including Agility, Canine Good
Citizenship, Conformation, Field Trials, Herding, Lure
Coursing, Obedience, and Rally.
Club meetings are held on the
second Wednesday of even months at 7:30 p.m. at the
Jefferson Area Board for Aging (JABA), located at 674
Hillsdale Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901. Meetings are open
to the public and we invite you to attend a meeting.
Over the past several years, the Charlottesville-Albemarle
Kennel Club has been involved in the following activities in
our community:
- Education and
responsibility, including presentations for local
schools
- Responsible Dog
Ownership festivals
- Breed referral
- Training classes.
- We also make donations
to: SPCA, Noah’s Ark, Caring Companions, and Hearing
Dogs.

WELCOME
BINK!
Bink, a four
year old Belgian Malinois imported from Holland, is the
newest member of the Albemarle County Police Department.
Bink was purchased with funds raised through the
Charlottesville-Albemarle Kennel Club's K-9 Challenge.

SPCA Partners with
Sissy Spacek and Schuyler Fisk
The
Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA has partnered with Sissy
Spacek and Schulyer Fisk for a new public service
announcement. Purchase the single "Love Somebody" on
